Interior Design Services
At your service.
We pride ourselves in providing excellent interior design service to our clients. Our approach to each project is to work as a partner with our clients to achieve the beautifully designed space that they want to live and work in. From a project as small as helping to find just the right piece of art or the best way to arrange furniture in a room to working with you and your architect to plan your entire building or remodeling project. Our goal is to help you define your design dreams, then we work to make them a reality.
For us, it’s all about full service interior Design.
Unlike most interior designers who will offer interior design consulting but leave it to you to contract with tradespeople and others to get the work done, we are a full service interior design firm. We will not only work with you on your interior design, but we’ll find the right contractors to get the job done and project manage the process to ensure it gets done right and on time.
Plan the space, you’ll be living in it.
You’ve heard it before–form follows function. In interior design that rule is extremely important. For us, it’s most relevant in space planning.
Most homeowners and even some architects don’t realize how important space planning is to interior design until it’s too late. Space planning can help make a room functional and easy to live in. Without thoughtful space planning a poorly planned space can be difficult to move around in and can create challenges with furniture, lighting, and functional areas.
Oops, the furniture doesn’t fit?
Imagine this: you build a beautiful new home and when it comes time to move in your furniture doesn’t fit in the space. Or, it’s impossible to watch television without the drapes closed because the sun shines on the picture. Or there aren’t enough electrical outlets in your office to accommodate your computer, printer, and other important equipment. As an interior design firm, we sit down with our clients first and learn about how they will use the space so we can help to plan it out to fit their needs.
If you are in the planning stages of your project it’s not too early to give us a call to see how we can help.
Even do-it-yourselfers can use interior design help.
Watching the interior design and do-it-yourself shows on television can give you great ideas. But sometimes between the editing and promos on the show, it’s hard to see the practical and functional aspect of the design. It can even be difficult to implement in your own home for lots of reasons: room dimensions may be different; existing hardware, electric or plumbing may be in the way; even color selection can be a challenge when paired with the design of adjoining rooms or with the light in your home.
That turquoise wall looked great on TV, why not in my house?
So you saw a great interior on television. We can help you get the same great interior design, but also help make sure it looks great in your home. If you would like to do the work yourself, but just need a great interior design team to bounce ideas off of, offer simple solutions for you to try, or just help refine your own ideas, we can consult with your do-it-yourself on your interior design do project.
We’ll help you with your design ideas and dreams.
We can meet with you, help to define your plans, or suggest colors that will work for your interior design. We can also work with you throughout your project to shop for furnishings, choose accessories, even simply to give interior design advice and make suggestions to help improve upon your own ideas. We’re here to help you achieve you dream space through good interior design.
Not sure if you can go it on your own? We’re happy to discuss your project with you to see where we can help you realize your interior design dreams. Contact us today.
It's no fun to shop alone. Shop with professional interior designers.

Often times staging can sweeten the real estate deal.

It’s more important than ever to have your home staged to appeal to the greatest number of buyers. Home staging with good interior design will help you get top dollar.
Pre-party staging or staging for no reason at all.

Drapery or blinds. Simple choice, right?
Not so. Window treatments are a very important part of the room. While adding visual appeal and warmth to a room, window treatments also serve several very important functions: privacy, keeping light out, letting light in, preserving your furnishings or art from the harmful affects of the sun, even contributing to the energy efficiency of your home.
So many choices in window treatments.
There are literally thousands of options available for window treatments. It’s not just drapery or blinds, there are shades, shutters, solar screens, panels, cornices, lambrequins, valances, and so many options in material, fabric, texture. We work with you to narrow down the choices in window treatments that fit your needs and complement your room perfectly.

One of the most important aspects of a new construction or remodeling project is the product specifications. Product specifications identifies and “specifies” everything in the home. Product specification involves determining requirements for and selection of: products used in the home such as flooring, appliances, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, cabinet hardware; all wall finishes and colors; materials used for window treatments; lighting; etc.
I know where it is supposed to go, but how do I choose the one I want?
That’s where we at Pegasus Design Group come in. Sorting through all of the options can be overwhelming for even the savviest of homeowners. Our interior designers have done this so long we can sift through all of your options, discard options that won’t work, and show you just what’s applicable to your home and your interior design needs.
We narrow the choices so you can choose from only what works for you in your home. Let us help you with your product specification on your next interior design project. Contact us today.
The options are personal and limitless.
Like window treatments, wall finishes are just as important in interior design as furniture, windows, and doors. And it’s usually the most personal aspect to a room. Wall finishes can include everything from faux painting, additional texture, wallpaper, paint colors, and much more. Wall finishes help to set the tone and allow you to express your personal style.
Want to show off your collection of sports memorabilia?
From an interior design standpoint, wall finishes can help warm up a large room, make a small room seem bigger–even provide a way to show off your favorite artwork or personal collections. Beyond the drywall or plaster, what’s on your walls give your room something of a personality.
Contact us today and let us help you give your room a fabulous personality.

It isn’t easy to look at an architecture plan or blueprint and visualize how the finished project will look. Architectural plans are not just lines on a big piece of paper. Many of our clients find it difficult to look at this piece of paper or papers and “see” what their home will eventually look like in three dimensions.
That’s not what it looked like on paper.
Architecture review highlights our shining expertise. And it’s a very important time in the building or remodeling process. Before you break ground or begin demolition on an interior design project, it is imperative to have a good picture of the end product from a design standpoint for sure, but most importantly from a functional standpoint. During architectural review is the time to determine if the room or rooms will work for you. We have the expertise to look at the plans, help you visualize how the design in three dimensions, and guide you through the process so there won’t be any surprises once the walls go up.
If you are working with an architect or builder on a remodel or new construction project and would like Pegasus to sit down with you and review your architectural plans call us today.
Very often overlooked in interior room design is lighting. Lighting is important not only so you can see what you are doing in a room, but also to help you feel comfortable. There are lots of things lighting can affect in a room. Lighting can make tasks easier, make a room seem quieter (or louder), warm a room up (or cool it down), and it can even help you de-stress. We work with you to design lighting in your room that will work for you.
And then there was light.
In interior design you also need to consider what the lighting is used for and the purpose of the room. Rooms with different purposes call for different lighting. For instance, a media or theater room is most often dark, but you need to consider specific lighting in certain areas like near your video or projection equipment and for safety, such as floor lighting in case someone wants to get up and walk around while the overhead lights are off. In a kitchen, office, craft room you will want directed task lighting for your various work areas, but you will also want to keep in mind that you need general lighting to light the whole room beyond your work areas. Think about all the different areas in your home and how you use those spaces and you will see how important interior design can be in selecting your lighting.
Incandescent, fluorescent, LCD, LED, halogen…high intensity what?
Who knew there were so many choices? In addition to where you put your lighting and what you use it for, there are also other considerations. Beyond the old three-way bulb and the dimmer switch, there are specialty bulbs and energy efficiency needs to consider. Don’t worry, we can walk you through all of the choices and help you choose the best lighting for your interior design.
Let us shed some light on that.
We would love to help you choose the perfect lighting for your interior design. Contact us to see how we can help shed some light on your interior spaces.
Every room needs furniture of some kind, even rooms where you are meant to stand or perform activities. In your den, you probably want a comfy chair to read or watch television in, the dinning room calls for a table and chairs, and more than obvious a bedroom needs a bed. But there’s more to it than that. There are tables for eating, working, and maybe putting your feet up on. Chairs for relaxing and chairs for working. And then there are book shelves, desks, armoires, and task carts just to name a few.
Help, I sat down and I can’t get up!
Ever have a great big fluffy sofa that feels great to curl up in, but is nearly impossible to get out of? In interior design it’s important not only to consider the purposed of the furniture, but also who will be using it. Do you and your family spend a lot of time around the kitchen table eating, talking, playing games or doing homework? Then maybe more comfortable chairs are needed. Do you care for elderly relative who need special seating to accommodate medical equipment or assistance in standing? Maybe you need special storage for pillows and blankets in your guest room, but don’t want to sacrifice the beauty of the room. We can help you with your choices in furnishings to make your life easy and comfortable at home.
We can find what you need or have it made for you.
The benefits of hiring an interior design team to help you with your furniture selections is that they have access to so many more choices and save you time. You could spend weeks going through furniture stores, browsing online, and paging through catalogs to find the furniture you want, only to learn your local retail store can’t get it for you. Or maybe you’re told it only comes in three different fabrics.
We’ll sit down with you and talk about how you will use your space, who will use the space, and how formal or informal it should be. We have developed relationships with manufacturers and major distributors so where you think you are limited to certain choices, we have the ability to get what you want. We can work with manufacturers to customize a piece that is perfect for your home–and we can sell it directly to you, often for the same price as retail, but made just for you.
If you are looking for a new piece of furniture or need to fill your whole home, contact us and we will help you find or design the perfect furniture to make your design dreams come true.
Limitless choices from fine imported silk to a beautiful wool plaid, houndstooth, leather, and so much more are available to homeowners today. The right fabric will not only help to set the mood and feel of a room, but it allows a designer to create a unique environment specifically for clients.
Homeowners browsing a furniture store often don’t realize the options they have in fabric when working with a designer. To save money many furniture stores will pre-order four to five different color and fabric options and offer only those choices to their customers. For example, consumers can feel limited and find themselves either choosing a fabric they don’t like because they prefer the style of furniture or they may choose furniture that isn’t their favorite because they can’t get the piece they love in the fabric they want. Interior designers will help you get both the furniture (or window treatment or wall treatment or accessory) you want and help you get it in the fabric you want.
Not all fabric is for every room or every home.
And not all fabric can be used for any purpose. Sometimes it’s common sense: Fine silk shouldn’t be used on the ottoman in the den where you prop your feet after a long day, or in a child’s play room where they may employ markers or crayons, or on your pet’s favorite lounging spot. But other times it take experience. We are interior designers who are experienced with all kinds of fabric for window treatments, upholstery, and more and we will work with you to get a fabric that reflects the style you want in your home and also the level of durability you and your family need.
Limitless options become the perfect choice.
Looking at all of the color, style, and texture options in fabric can be very overwhelming. We will sift through the fabric options and narrow down the choices that are right for you, so you can choose the perfect fabric to meet your interior design dreams. Contact us to see how we can help you find the perfect fabric for your perfect style.
Just like your selection in window treatments was once limited to drapes or blinds, interior flooring used to be as simple as wood, carpet, or linoleum. Today there are lots of choices in interior flooring and the materials available for interior flooring are as varied as the choices. Not only can you choose wood or carpeting, but you can further choose hardwood, laminate, bamboo, cork, vinyl, rugs, textured carpet, Berber carpet, carpet tile, ceramic tile, natural stone, and on and on. We can help narrow down the choices to something you will love.
Interior design options to walk all over.
How will you walk on your flooring? Your choice in flooring options should be determined by its use, the style and look of the environment it is going into, and even by the climate you live in. Is it a high traffic area? Will there be frequent spills you’ll need to clean up? Do you hate to vacuum? The climate in certain parts of the country may even affect your choice in flooring. For instance, installing a tile floor in the living room of a home in Florida is much more practical than a home in Wisconsin (unless the floor is heated).
I have children, isn’t Berber carpeting my only option?
There are more choices for homes with children than commercial grade Berber. You’ll also want to consider other factors you may not even think of such as the height of your ceiling and the size of your room. High ceilings and large rooms with hardwood floors can echo quite a bit. The important thing is you have lots of interior design options and we are here to help you narrow choices and select the right floor for you. Contact us to help you with you interior design project and finding the right flooring to make your interior design dreams come true.
